The Audi Allroad, in the US config, apparently shows up as a A4 avant. With the twin tailpipes of the A4 instead of the one-on-each side of the Allroad.
It still costs $2k less than a similarly specced BMW 328xi touring, so NPOCP?

I like the All Road. Easily pick it over the pack.
Wait a tick, that is an All Road. flared arches are using the body colour option.

Yep, that's the allroad.
I loved those body-colour arches. They're wide(r than a A4?) and they don't look crap like the black plastic ones standard (saw one in real life, loved everything about it except the black arches).
Only thing I don't like is the 20 less HP vs. 328. I wonder how this will stack up against the V60 T5.

At first I thought Kinja had a new feature. I guess not.
Anyway, I agree that this Allroad looks better with the body colored plastic. I'd still prefer the regular A4 wagon, but let's for once not rant about that.

Dude you got me all excited for a second there. The Allroad is nice but I can't get past that crossover ride height.

I'm thinking/hoping a used Audi Allroad, diesel with manual box is going to be my next car. They don't colour code them here, so getting it wrapped in white seems like the way forward for me...

Only reason why I would ever consider getting a 328xi, tbh. I don't like that ride height either, but it's better.
I absolutely love the Allroad's interior. I'd rather have the plastic/faux leather/whatever on the dash over the BMW's shiny "hexagon" aluminum or a giant slab of burl wood (why is there no anthracite for M-Sport?).
I wonder how the T5 V60 will turn out.

Used as in C5 A6, or a used B8(.5)?

I could probably trade in now at get a C5. Self-employment makes it a hard guess where i'll end up when it's time to change. The older A6 seems to be quite rare in manual transmission, from some looking i've done. The newer A4 (B8), seems to be a lot easier to get hold of in the configuration I want.

Wait, weren't the C5 Allroads all in that weird black/blue plastic on the arches?
One benefit of the C5 is that it could probably actually offroad, unlike the B8. The B8 A4 avant though...mmm. I wish we could get the S4 avant with S Tronic/6MT, flat-bottomed steering wheel, and wider arches here.

Yeah they were, which is why I think doing a white wrap over the whole car would be the way to go.
The C5 does appear to be more capable off road but I would only use it lightly in those instances anyway, have better suited vehicles at my disposal for that.
I like all Avants and most Audi, but always think with economy and utility in mind which is why the Allroad would be the best fit for me.

Ah, in that case, enjoy your future allroad!

I'm curious about the Volvo as well. Hey are you new to Oppo? If so, welcome always nice to have another wagon fan. :)

Not really new, been here for almost two-three weeks. And thanks.
Wagons are awesome.
